We just took Henry to his first day at daycare (sob !sob!), it was really hard, (why do I do this to myself?)I even forgot his diapers at home.  He seemed to be very happy and was all smiles at the teacher, he even slept for 10 hours straight last night.  Rehema on the other hand was very concerned that we were leaving her brother with someone else.  It does help that the same woman who took care of Rehema three years ago, is the same one who is taking care of Henry, yep, we like her, she has been working there for 25 years!!! well, have a happy week!

    I know it is hard, but I’m glad you were able to leave him with someone you know and trust.

    He seems like a sweet natured little boy and I’m sure he will do just fine.

    I’m glad you have been able to take this much time off work and be home with him. I’m sure the transition back will be difficult, but you survived it with Rehema and I know you can do it with Henry too!

  2. Thanks Sara, It just seems like it was much easier with Rehema since I took her to daycare when she was 2.5 months, and with Henry he is now 3.5 months, so I have stayed with him longer. I am still having a real hard time if I want to go through with this. We will see.
