Fun Monday – Collections

I cannot believe it is already Monday, time is really flying.
Fun Monday is being hosted by Mariposa and here is what she she wants us to blog about:
We all have them…and if you don’t, you do….you just may not realize it. For some reason or another we all collect something and we collect it for reasons that will definitely make for good reading. So on Monday, I want to see your collection. If you don’t have or don’t want or CAN’T (wink) show us a picture, then tell us what the collection is in 10 words or less. Then tell us why you started collecting it.
Please join us and lets have some fun this Monday…

I am assuming that clothes do not count, though I am getting better at those, I do not buy anything on sale that fits me.  My first collection is of journal type books, I have so many within a short time, I have written very little in them.

My second most priced collection are pictures…real pictures…I know everything is going digital but I still go and process the pictures of my babies.

I forgot to add that I have been collecting (storing) ounces and ounces of breastmilk for my son to use when I go back to work.  I have about 300 ounces in the freezer, I know, that’s crazy, I just want him not to miss out.  It is indeed my most priced collection.
Let me go see/read what everyone is collecting

  1. Oooo… I have those too. Lots of journals, most with one or two pages written on. I really should stop doing that, but the lure of a blank page is just too much for me!!!!

  2. Apart from my blog I don’t write a journal. I do however have lots of photos, especially of my grand children. Must confess more recently I have kept to digital records as I had so many photo albums and no space to store them!

  3. Ah … someone else who collects ‘journals’ … but mine are filled with words because I write daily … have for decades actually. These days I have fewer printed photos, but once upon a time I was designated ‘family historian’ so I have multiple photo albums compiled through the years. I’m a recovering pack rat … and have shared at Small Reflections this week. I hope you’ll find time to visit.
    Hugs and blessings,

  4. no journals for me…I know I don’t have time for them, but my daughter loves them, and she does write in them….pictures are a wonderful collection!!

  5. I suspect most bloggers have a blank journal collection–I do and just bought another today. Agree with you about honest to goodness photos–sometimes digital doesn’t give the satisfaction of 35mm. . .
