Today’s Fun Monday is hosted by the lovely Church Lady. She would like to know what we do when we are ‘stuck’ in the house. Here is her assignment:
How do you beat the doldrums when you are stuck in the house either because it is too cold or too hot outside? Do you read? Cook? Complete a home improvement project? Watch movies? Scrapbook? Please share your ideas.

When I am ‘stuck’ in the house, usually it happens that I am stuck with two energetic toddlers, whatever I do depends on what they are doing too. I cook, try to cook “make-a-head” meals and keep them frozen and this saves up on time for me on weekdays, I try to catch up with laundry and at times sleep. I guess house work takes a lot of my ‘free’ time before I know it, the time day is over.

Click over to Church Lady’s and see how the others beat the doldrums. Have a fun monday!!

  1. It is hard to jump into a “project” until we get our house chores done first. Then, there is usually no time left. Ha. You have a good idea to cook “make-a-head” meals. That is a huge time saver through the work week.

Good luck with your fitness challenge. I love Jillian!

  2. I was never that organized even with one toddler! Still not, now that my toddler is 10! I need to get on that make-ahead bandwagon – it would leave me more time for dismantling furniture.

  3. Those of us who don’t have small children have no idea what it’s like. One demand leads to another. It’s a good thing they’re so darn cute! I’m surprised you have the energy to keep up with Jillian!

  4. That brings back memories for sure! But sweet ones! Toddlers are so unpredictable aren’t they? I bet you have loads of fun though! Enjoy them, they will be grown up before you know it!
